I'll let you know after next Sat. Certainly not expecting much the first time out since I've just started shooting again after 20+ years and I didn't shoot a lot of pistol back then either. Now I'll be focusing on defensive pistol training so will improve as the year goes on, especially after I...
At this point go for 10. Your potential issue may be with drivers on the old hardware.
I haven't tried it yet, but try user agent switching to get a browser to work. I know it won't help on sites that actually use features built into the newer browser versions, but I suspect many sites will...
If I was LE/M, I would carry more. Ironically, Tom's statistics (and those from Active Self Protection) are largely how I made my decision. I'm sure they and others have said other things (e.g., Tom recommending a BUG even though they're very rarely used), so feel free to add links to stats that...
At some point you reach diminishing returns. I bet 99% of citizens that carry will never need to draw their firearm. Of those that do, 90+% are within the 7 yard range it seems. Perhaps someone like BBI can show otherwise. I'd be OK with 20-25 yards. Even with bad eyesight, I'm confident I can...
I'm aware of that, but I don't know what the hardest shot in the carry match will be though I can see where my answer may have caused confusion.
Bingo. I bet I wouldn't be legal to drive if my lens was only my bifocal Rx.
If I was going to just shoot bullseye, I'd get a new lens for my...
For the upcoming one I know there's a 5x5 classifier at 10 yards according to the one stage they posted, which includes a head shot. I can do that, just not quickly.
Wider rear sight notch would help, too, eventually.
I can if they're all fuzzy from your regular glasses. While I could wear special glasses in a competition (I did as a rifle shooter) that would allow a decent front sight picture, I wouldn't be wearing them everyday, and I'm only going to compete to get better at EDC so I need to learn to deal...
I submitted my info online Dec 27. Mailed it all the next day I believe. They received my package Jan 2. They emailed Jan 22 that they received it. I expect it will come in a few weeks.
IANAL, but inmates get moved all the time for a wide variety of reasons. What is curious (if MI follows IN levels) is moving him to minimum security. That makes no sense to me. I assume he's not eligible for parole any time soon.
So maybe not smallest, but thought I'd update on what I have obtained so far. Ironically, the first I acquired was not US-owned, an FNS-9c, because I couldn't pass up the deal. However, the next day I got a good deal on a S&W M2.0 Compact. Yesterday, I picked up a Ruger American Compact Pro.
I...
At least they still have one. We used to shoot against them every season they could field a team until the current Rose-Hulman president axed our NCAA rifle team a couple years ago for no reason. :xmad:
I carried a Glock 27 in mine AIWB. I'd make sure he uses a belt to ensure consistent force to keep it in place. I wouldn't want to have to run without a belt. I'll be getting a hybrid once I decide on my new carry gun. Agree that you must take greater care when reholstering and it is a 2-handed job.
Guess that is the advantage of being a (very small) business. FedEx makes us sign for everything while UPS only certain things (I didn't have to sign for my ammo). FedEx won't leave things outside on Sat either.
