Very nice buy! I had never heard of these guns until I joined this site, and each one that Melensdad posts makes me want one pretty bad! Detonics made/makes a beautiful handgun.
That my friend, is a BEAUTIFUL Sig P226. I would LOVE to own that pistol!
Ive been looking for a used one for the last week or so, since so many people said they can be had for much cheaper than I was looking at paying.
AND, my wonderful wife threw another wrench in the mix. She told...
I couldn't agree more. Galyan's was an awesome store, and I too, feel that Dick's completely ruined everything. I find it so weird/funny when people have no idea what Galyan's was and only know of Dick's.
No matter how many rounds I put through any of my guns, they get broken down and cleaned after each and every use. Its just something I got used to doing, and still do it to this day.
That has some potential. Im interested to see how that turns out. I have to pass by there on the way to Blythes anyway, so if I can shoot there cheaper in the winter, I'm all for it!
I think ill head in there tomorrow and see what they have over at Freedom Arms. Its close enough to me, I might as well give it a shot. And at worst case I can talk to him about his transfers in case I do buy online. Thanks for all of the help, it is greatly appreciated!! Hopefully Ill have...
Is Freedom Arms that place over by Midnight Blue towing off of North St?
The one in the link to Buds is the EXACT same one Ive had my eye on. It just feels perfect in my hand. The older ones didn't feel as good for some reason? Maybe the grip angle is different? I dont know enough about...
The first thing I noticed about the gun was the weight of it. Its not to heavy by any means, but shooting 9mm out of it should really nice! Follow up shots should come pretty easy I would imagine.
The finish wearing off doesn't really bother me. If it turns to crap over time, ill just have...
Thank you very much for the info! I'm headed over to the forum now!
The specs for the new sig are: 9mm, standard sites, One-piece ergo grip, rail, nitron finsh. Standard all black P226 pretty much.
I'm in the market for another 9mm, and I have narrowed my choice down to a SIG P226. I was in my local shop today and they had a price tag of $850(I have a good relationship with them, and can probably get a little off of that). My question is, is that about what I should be paying? I have...
Just shot one of these a couple of hours ago for the first time. If felt AWESOME, and made me instantly want one. The trigger was VERY smooth and and the recoil felt like a 9mm to me. Beautiful gun all the way around. Congrats on your purchase!
