I'd like to use a dillon. I've got a pro 1000 and have had some problems with it but found out most of the problems were just lack of knowledge/experience on my part. Once I figured things out, it has been fine.
I've tried the privi and had good results. If you are going to just plink with this, you're more of a man than me. After about a dozen shots my shoulder says no more.....
The fishing has been great on my pond, but I'd trade all the fish I caught for a 5.5 lb largemouth. I caught lots of 14 inchers that I threw back for next year.
Call the local LDS church and ask for the name of the relief Society President. She will be able to help you out. I'm LDS and I can't go to the cannery to get things. They aren't set up like a retail outlet so there isn't someone there all the time.
Go through the local church, you don't...
Go to any Mormon church and talk to the Relief Society President. She can get bags of wheat for you if you give her a little time. She will pick it up in Indianapolis on the west side. Sometime the lag time can be about a month.
Funny how times change. I drank well water where the pump was in a pit for 40 years. Of course, I also drank unpasteurized milk for probably 25 years. Maybe the contaminations canceled each other out.
I was going to try the same thing, only useing a number 10 can and sealing it. Trouble is, it will weigh in at about 75 pounds. I guess it won't be hard to tell which can holds ammo and which has green beans.
