      on a serious note....you can go into it as big or as little as you like. If you're close to Bloomington, I would give you a dozen old duck floaters to get you started. Watch craigslist and you can find some bargains on gear and read duckhuntingchat.com and you'll learn a ton.

      10 gauge try out

      I've killed 1000's of geese and a 10 gauge does the trick. I'm 6' and 240 and doesn't bother me a bit.

      Choke tubes for a BPS Invector

      I recently purchased a 12 ga. Browning BPS. I'm into waterfowl hunting and wondering if anyone has any good experiences with certain brands of chokes in these guns. I mainly hunt ducks at decoy range. Thanks for any help.

      IL has been doing this for years. The dis-honest still won't check birds in and the honest will. Doesn't matter if you go to a check station or not.
