Good to know, seems to be a perfect size and I keep seeing great reviews on reliability. I'm always seeing Ruger sales, so I might have to go this direction.
Anyone have experience with the Springfield 1911 Emissary in .45ACP? Just ran across this for the first time and while it's an aesthetically pleasing handgun, any thoughts about actual performance would be appreciated.
I'm toying around with the idea of the MP12 from S&W. Thoughts on putting sights on it? My gut says it would be pointless outside of looking cool, but maybe they'd be more useful than I thought.
Probably just reiterating a point here, but absolutely carry with one in the chamber. It can be nerve-wracking when you're first starting to carry, but you'll learn to trust the gun. It isn't going off in your pocket and if you need it you don't have to fumble with anything.
Could not believe this when I saw it, what an absolute disaster. I'm no lawyer, but I had high hopes for Remington coming out of bankruptcy, I thought they would put up more of a fight over such a ridiculous claim.
Agree with most of the replies here. Buy just to ensure you have them if you ever can't get them, but never count on something like this as an investment. Even if its an entire firearm, it's worthless to someone without ammo!
