Count me among the snobs.
I see my Henry as “analog” in a “digital” world.
I only allow Skinners on my Henry keep me honest.
Put a scope on some bolt-action work-horse if you need to drive tacks.
Do you keep WiFi in your log cabin?
Would your John Wayne costume include kydex?
How about...
The discount is “up to” 10%. The sales lady mentioned that on some items where their [profit] margin was too thin they could not allow 10% but would give the greater of the advantages to the buyer.
Stopped by Big R in Warsaw today and wandered through their firearms section. There on the counter, next to the sign honoring police officers and other public servants by offering a discount was a similar sign extending their discount to teachers and school employees.
Because I am a teacher, I...
If I was a car collector, (i’m Not) I would like to think I would be proficient at driving all.
But if I had to brave the blinding snowstorm to, say, fetch my daughter, my choice would be limited to my most faithfull, well-practiced ride.
If your purpose in carrying is to anticipate a...
This. Not what you would call classy. But it meets the need to get that brown color over black (only THINKING the word "accessories.") and still extremely capable. Glad to have both black and brown.
(Sigh) With every new "toy" we must recapitulate for the uninitiated:
1. The mustard is always loaded.
2. Never point a condiment at something you are not willing to devour.
3. Always be sure of your meat and the bun that cradles it.
4. Keep your finger off the trigger until it's time to eat...
Biobelt!!! Dress belt for business all week. To the woods for cutting. Under the truck as a mechanic. Cinched tight to hold it all in. I'd buy a spare, but can't see a need. Can't see wearing this one out!
When the weapon is on my person, secured, and not in my hand, it ,and I, are most "safe." It is under my direct supervision, not relying on some locked storage for its security.
That said, the prerequisite is sober judgement. My "safe" ain't necessarily YOUR "safe."
Thank you. I'll check on Williams stuff. I know the problem will be compounded with head/cheek placement. Once you"re snuggled in you're even more limited in how you use your lenses. Did you find you live more with the distance, middle or reading lenses?
I have terrible eyes and wear trifocals. Pistol shooting is magegable with focus on far siight. Rifle scope shooting is fine because scopes can focus to play nice with glasses.
Iron sights, however...YIKES! I'm looking to get a lever-action. I WANT to shoot without scope and keep the rifle...
thanks, Rhino. It's good to know it's the same stuff. "Milk chocolate color" sounds so...festive? Don't suppose you'd reconsider and call it "manly mohogany" or "Burly-burgundy."
I have the black bio-belt and love it. I wear for everyday and business (work). I want the brown. Two concerns: The black is, well, black. You can't mess that up. But the brown looks not-so-classy. Is it decent enough for dress? Secondly, does anyone own black AND brown and can tell me if the...
Thanks. I want to like it. The skinny man with the baggy pants makes it look ideal. All in the marketing, I guess.
I've never heard a positive account from a user.
My holster drawer isn't full of next-best-things yet. At the Indy 1500 I was impressed with the guy peddling the Hide-it holster from Personal Defense Systems. He was smooth at popping his piece in and out of his 11:00 IWB position with a cell phone holder flopped on the outside.
I find plenty...
I carry a Taurus pt111 g2. I keep trying to talk myself into up-selling to other guns, but I can't. It fits. It's practical. It shoots well. The slims are single stacked where the g2 is not. Both are easily in your price range.
Oh great, I haven't had those dreams, so I go ahead and read all of yours, see common threads...and now I'll be dreaming about super-slow bullits and jammed guns...and throw in Richard Simmons wearing nothing but Kevlar...
