When I had my 239, it was my summer gun...single stack 9mm. Now I carry a Walther PPS which is thinner and lighter, then break out the USP 45 Compact for the cooler weather.
VERY nice looking SIG!!! Thanks for sharing the SIG love!!!
Riddle me THIS, Batman,
Soooooo, "online" institution...if I am on my computer and taking a class from my living room, does my living room (or any room I am in while taking said online course) suddenly become a "Postsecondary credit bearing proprietary educational institution", therefore making...

Funny thing is, the guy who works for the Parks Dept who puts up those signs is an FFL! :) Owns a little shop in Lowell.... Optimist Park is in Hammond off of Columbia and River Dr. I can see some Hammond Po Po giving a hard time. I know most of the Highland Po Po and they are pretty good...
I carry guilt free all the time at Wicker Park. It is very close to my house and I love to take my 3yo daughter there. There can be some rough looking characters there at times.
Disparity of Force is used primarily in female cases, however a good attorney and you conveying to the prosecutor that you truly feared for your life may work in keeping your butt out of the slammer...

Funny you should say that. I was in the Griffith store today (awesome remodeling job, by the way!!!) and an older gentleman was there picking up a rifle. He said, "Well, there goes all of my gun show money, now I don't have to go!"
Meanwhile, the guy in the back of the line who was IWB-ing kept his mouth shut and went on about his day with no meth-heads going all Hello Kitty on him...nobody at DD knows he carries, nobody at the Wallyworld knows he carries...but he's just as prepared to defend the innocent...
Should have...
The words, "Gun Free Zone" kept running through my head while reading the story. Great story, glad he's ok. Too bad there wasn't a "good guy with a gun" earlier on in the incident.
Walther is definitely NOT owned by Smith and Wesson and S&W no longer imports the Walther firearms made in Germany since the beginning of this year. S&W had import rights and S&W made a PPK here in the states. Other than that, they are two completely separate companies.
Walther has their...
