I can't ask for a better gun than a Glock. Simple, efficient, easily modified, never fails, tough as nails, super accurate, high capacity, interchangable mags... what else can I say? They rock!
:rockwoot:
I picked mine up new for $500. It fits ok in my pocket for now, not too heavy, but mainly got it for house and car. Holsters are pretty slim picking right now. Hopefully someone will get on the ball.
I've always used steel mags. I don't like the look or feel of plastic and polymer mags on a wood and steel AK, just doesn't seem right to me. Polymer mags for polymer guns and steel mags for steel guns, maybe its just me.
I can't believe people put good guns through that kind of torture knowing how much money is involved in this hobby but it is nice to know they hold up, JUST IN CASE. I saw a video of a guy who had converted a G19 to full auto and ran several custom made 100 round drums through it with no...
Haven't met anybody iin person yet but I couldn't agree more. This site seems to be filled with quality people and quality information. Thanks for all the hard work guys.:yesway:
Nice to have the high capacity but I do just fine with a good old $350 mossberg. How many 12gauge shells do you need? I know, I know... it would be fun.
Very interesting, I would have to suppose it would be a wash or a loss in the end. What I mean is that any money saved by not supporting public education would otherwise be spent for law enforcement, welfare, and other public funds. So abolish all of that, right? Well, there is a word for that....
No doubt, skill is great to have but if I get shocked awake by my door getting kicked in, in the middle of the night I want to know I'm gonna hit what's coming through it.
Besides that they are fun to shoot. The 000 makes a nice pattern up to 12-15 ft. and the 45LC is on point in mine. The...
I've been carrying for 1 month longer than my daughter is old, so almost 2 and half years now. Also it doesn't make it hard to figure out why I started carrying, like so many of us when you realize you have more to protect than just yourself it's no longer an option, it's smart living.
I still...
I've not had that much luck with Hi-Points. My brother has a 9mm that started FTF after about 5 mags. Geuss the upside is that it has a lifetime warranty. Wouldn't want to stake my life on it.
AK anyday, the little bit you sacrifice in accuracy is more than made up for in price difference. Heck my AK is cheaper to shoot than my .40 cal but I have to travel farther for that range. Still the AK is an icon and rightfully so, never fails, always shoots, every time. Plus it's got a...
Great advice, definitely get a feel for it. If you can't put it down after a couple clips then it's worth it. If you can walk away from it hold out for something better.:n00b:
Cor-Bon rules. Hollow tips are always the best bet for carry. Practice some with these type loads but it's more economical to do most practice with a cheap FMJ.
