      Advantages of Pocket Carry

I carry a S&W J-Frame in a pocket holster. I have a down vest I wear in the colder times of the year. It has a two front pockets. They are the exact size to fit my combo. No one has any idea it's there and it is at hand. Also, when riding my motorcycle I wear a leather vest which has...

I am a member and also renew year to year. Not crazy about everything they say and do, but believe it's beneficial overall.

      BEST MOVIE LINE...related to firearms?

James Caan (Sonny Corleone) talking about stashing a gun behind a commode: "I don't want my brother coming out of that toilet with just his dick in his hand."

      Remington R1 1911

Very nice looking 1911. Haven't had the opportunity to see one "in the flesh", but sure like what I see in the picture. Congratulations on your purchase.

      Tarus 85 or Ruger SP101?

For concealed carry I would definitely get the SP-101 with the spurless hammer if I decided on the Ruger.

      Tarus 85 or Ruger SP101?

I really like the SP-101 and don't know a lot about the Taurus. The SP-101 is kind of heavy, otherwise it's a great gun. For CC, I would look at a S&W J-frame.

Rugers won't win any beauty contests...

I guess beauty's in the eye of the beholder. I certainly think there are worse looking guns around. I own several and really like the looks of the revolvers.

      List of Indiana Shooting Ranges

Went to Applied Ballistics in Lafayette this week and heartily recommend it. 15 indoor lanes up to 25 yards with nice store, rentals, clean restrooms and really nice people. My wife and I both enjoyed it.

I have a P95DC and would be real hesitant about ever letting it go. Built to last and fun to shoot and dollar for dollar as good as you can do. Some folks think it won't win any beauty contest but that's not why I bought it.
