      300 Yard Deer Rifle

I agree and I would not take a shot that I was not confident that I could make which is why I did not take a 200yard shot with my 870. I hunt from a ground blind and have a solid seat and a tripod. Also no argument that I would need to invest time and money to find the right ammo and learning...

      300 Yard Deer Rifle

I have decided that by gun season next year I would like to have a rifle capable of a 300 yard shot. I am currently using a Remington 870 with a slug barrel and red dot. I am comfortable out to 100 with it but I missed a chance on a really good buck the other day due to him staying out at...

Wildlife group seeks to halt emergency rule for Rifles

This could really go either way couldn't it? I assume the dnr will argue that the bill's author has stated that they made a mistake but there is still the argument that the law is the law and the dnr can't make a rule that goes against that law. This will have no affect on me but it is going...

Palmetto State Armory shipping has me scratching my head?!

Jet.com works this way. If you buy something from them they offer discounts on items that are in the same warehouse. They also do discounts if you opt out of free returns and a couple other things. Have t gotten anything fun related from there but interesting to see how it all works...

I carry a Glock 19 in a bravo concealment bca owb at the 3-4 position. Conceals fine under an untucked shirt. Just ordered a stealth gear revolution owb the other...

Discussion of establishing a Church security/safety team

I am a member of our church's life safety team. While myself and several other members have been carrying for several years, it's just been in the last 18 months that we have put together something more formal, while still not in writing. Our main focus this past year is preparing for the...

I believe this is a different call. Looking around it seems that you could get the snort and the bleat as a combo pack.

Going camping, need some ideas for easy campfire meals

Hobo Dinners. Burger patties, sliced potatoes, carrots, onion, and whatever else you want to throw in. Wrap them in foil and throw them in the coals. Was always my favorite part of camping when I was a kid. It was fun to make them and we could customize them with just the stuff we liked...

      Crossbow Advice

Finally got it sighted in. Was hitting quarter sized dots on my target with my hunting arrows at 30 yards so i'm pretty pleased. Learned a few shots in that I can't use the same dot for more than one shot as I robinhooded one. looooong trigger pull but other than that no complaints so far.

      40S&W Caliber for Deer 2017?

I can't speak to .40 but my brother took a buck and a doe with a Glock 40 10mm mos w/ burris fastfire 3 last year. Both were in the 25 yard range and neither ran more than 50 yards.
