Just to play devil's advocate on behalf of the Kiwis, they didn't vote for this. This was a mandate from the gov't. We have no idea what the level of support for this mandate is or what the actual compliance with the mandate will be. The most recent estimate I'd seen of weapons turned in was...
See what you'd be compensated if you were forced to turn in your firearms/accessories based on arbitrary values derived by people with no knowledge of firearms...

Had a great time shooting with you all. Impressed with the professionalism of LAV and the practicality of the the training. Everything was done with a purpose and reason based on his (vast) experience. The cruddy weather on Saturday made it even better.
I will also add, this course gave...
Anyone have any details on this range or what distances we'll be shooting at? Just curious, Aztec wasn't sure when I called and I'm not familiar with this range.
I'll second (third? fourth?) all of the positive comments. This was my fourth RR event and the best yet. Great instruction and atmosphere. The cruddy weather made it even better getting to test gear in somewhat adverse conditions. I appreciate all of the effort that the RR instructors and...
I'm a big fan of PWS. Nothing in NFA size but I've been very happy with the quality of their carbines. Great CS, too. Haven't needed them because of any problems, just general questions. Stacey and crew are extremely helpful.
If that's the case, that's unfortunate. This has been my only exposure to him other than hearing some Run the Jewels songs, and thought he came off - based on my observation - as pretty reasonable and libertarian-leaning.
I finished listening to most of the podcast. I did not expect a dude named Killer Mike to be one of the most thoughtful and reasonable people I've heard in a far-reaching public forum in a while. Much better interview than I expected and one of the best I've heard on Rogan in a while.
Listening to the Joe Rogan podcast where he's interviewing the rapper Killer Mike. Early in the podcast they get into gun rights and Killer Mike ends up being one of the most educated guests I'd ever heard on this podcast regarding 2A and gun rights/gun safety.
FYI...some NSFW language...
I have two big regrets...not purchasing a near mint 6" stainless Python with wood grips and original box for $1000 in 2013 (I was brand new to guns and didn't know its value), and not buying a Swiss STG57 in 7.5x55 from GunAuction for $6k. It was in mint condition with a bunch of mags and all...
What's the preferred method of schlepping your gear around? Do we need to carry all of our gear with us? Is there a lot of walking around? Should we have all ammo loaded into mags or do we have time to reload mags at different points? Just curious as it appears we won't have much opportunity...
