My wife has a stainless Taurus 94 that works pretty well for her. Personally I can't stand the trigger, especially in DA, but I heard that it'll smooth out over time.
The best .22 revolver I ever shot was a decades old K22. That was one smooth wheelgun.

I usually shoot at 100 yards. I've played around at 200 yards, but the rounds drop about 4-6 feet and scatter all over the place. I managed to hit clays at 200 yards about 1 in 20 shots with a 10/22. I'm going to try the same thing with a CZ452 soon and see if the gun makes any difference.
This is one of the most fun rifles I have! It's cheap to shoot and makes one hell of a BANG! I don't worry much about the corrosive ammo with this thing. I just run a swab through it when I get home and don't bother doing anything with it at the range.

Some of the rural Wal-marts around Ohio still have a few shotguns and muzzle loaders, but it is looking pretty sparse. This is just another reason to avoid Wal-mart for me.
I've seen indoor ranges that are built rather discreetly with the bullet traps 50 yards out under the yard somewhere. That might help with the lead problem.
I bought a small spinning target for .22s a while back at a gun store for $12 and it has held up pretty well so far. My only complaint is that the metal is too thin and I have to remember to flip the target around each trip to push the dents the other way. I also spray paint it every trip...
