      What was your first Handgun?

Browning Buckmark Practical URX. I still have it and it's still the most accurate handgun I own.

Looking to get a new .22 revolver, options?

My wife has a stainless Taurus 94 that works pretty well for her. Personally I can't stand the trigger, especially in DA, but I heard that it'll smooth out over time. The best .22 revolver I ever shot was a decades old K22. That was one smooth wheelgun.

Who is your favorite YouTube personality?

If I remember correctly, Hickok is the guy who shot a Glock at 200 meters. If that's the case, he has my vote! It's also hard to beat flushboyaz: YouTube - flushboyaz's Channel

You might be a gun owner, if....

You pause movies to identify guns. You know the price of ammo better than the price of gas. You discovered that the grocery hooks in your car work perfectly for hanging an AR.

      range of .22lr

I usually shoot at 100 yards. I've played around at 200 yards, but the rounds drop about 4-6 feet and scatter all over the place. I managed to hit clays at 200 yards about 1 in 20 shots with a 10/22. I'm going to try the same thing with a CZ452 soon and see if the gun makes any difference.

Picked up my first Mosin Nagant today!

This is one of the most fun rifles I have! It's cheap to shoot and makes one hell of a BANG! I don't worry much about the corrosive ammo with this thing. I just run a swab through it when I get home and don't bother doing anything with it at the range. You definitely need to build up a...

      Guns at Walmart

Some of the rural Wal-marts around Ohio still have a few shotguns and muzzle loaders, but it is looking pretty sparse. This is just another reason to avoid Wal-mart for me.

What did those melons ever do to you? Great vids!

Buy cheap, buy twice. The "Sweet Deal" mentality.

Like a buddy of mine always says: the most expensive way is the cheapest way.

Caught a bullet in flight this weekend

Nice! In the past I've been able to see some of the big slow rounds like 45 ACP in flight, but catching it on video is a whole 'nother level.

These targets look awesome. Thanks for the idea!

Building indoor range in my basement

I've seen indoor ranges that are built rather discreetly with the bullet traps 50 yards out under the yard somewhere. That might help with the lead problem.

      I love pay day!

Nice! I've always liked the look of the M4.

Recommendations for a dueling tree for .22s

I bought a small spinning target for .22s a while back at a gun store for $12 and it has held up pretty well so far. My only complaint is that the metal is too thin and I have to remember to flip the target around each trip to push the dents the other way. I also spray paint it every trip...

      Most Expensive Scope

$40 on a Tasco, and I also use a cheapo Centerpoint. They work just fine for putting holes in things down range.

What caliber gun do you carry?

.22LR or .380. Are the .22 guys underrepresented here?

      Pistol Wear Experiences

I already carry pepper spray and have used it a couple times, but you have got to see the size of the dog that chased me down yesterday! I swear it was like a goat crossed with a T-rex. I've also been chased by a local coyote and I didn't feel that pepper spray was enough then (sprinting...
