      Kel-Tec

The word is quality. I believe I said, "some quality." The purpose of my original question was to find a Kel Tec that had more than "some quality." The term "throwaway" had more to do with the lifespan of the gun than my take on it. I desire a piece that will last longer than a 5-year car loan...

I've shot a P3AT. The product was what you'd expect. I was looking for a better made firearm. Pure and simple. I'll look elsewhere.

If you want something inexpensive and does the job, get a Kel Tec. I know there are many that are very happy with what they have. Like anything, life's a crap shoot and it can happen to any manufacturer. From personal experience and what people tell me, Kel Tec is a little too all over the place...

Bob Costas is at it again...

"I’m filling in for Bob Costas today,” Beck began. “And we are going to do our best to continue his tradition of exceptional sports analysis along with exceptionally idiotic and logically flawed current events commentary.”...

      The future of gun shows.

Does that have the most vendors of any show in the state? I was always tempted to go.

Ditto. I must see the Masons!

      Revolvers? Still relevant?

      Agreed. Completely.

      Glock Choice (FDE or EXO)

EXO. No question. The other one looks like Gerber. I don't want crap on my polymer.

A PMR-30 may happen. There's something about it that intrigues me.

I have no problem with process as long as those responsible understand the limitations and don't slack off on making a quality product. You make some good points on the downside of older revolvers and vintage pieces. Yet I still sense a greater pride and competency than I find in most modern...

      357 Sig

That would be amazing. Did you just come up with that?
    14. GeorgeCaplin1958

      357 Sig

I've seriously thought about it. I know where there's a good CPO for $500 as we speak. Buy a 357 Sig barrel to slip in the 40 cal, and away we go...

Newt: If Hillary Runs In 2016, Republicans 'Incapable Of Competing'

+1 Both are winners and I'm especially keen on Rubio. The losers would be Chirs Christie and Jeb Bush.

      Revolvers? Still relevant?

"Comfortable with their primary role in defensive use" That's pretty much it. CCW when that's the only thing you have. Hence the "5 or 6 shots".
    18. GeorgeCaplin1958

      357 Sig

What's the best firearm chambered in the caliber? In terms of carry, range performance, and ballistics. I realize there's more than one. I love the caliber but haven't tried everything. Having a Sig chambered in Sig is tempting.

      HKs

Great post! I agree. If you can find one used for a good price, that's when you jump. Not a moment before. As for Sigs, I think I'll go that route. A 220 Elite sounds pretty good.

      That's the issue.
