This is my fav too, the only problem is each wieghs in at 4.6 pounds(dry) each but will let your enemy know you carry a BIG boomstick. I have one and it is a beast.

It is Boltgun from the year 40,000 (from the game Warhammer 40k)
Standard Bolts comprise the following components: Outer casing, propellant base, main charge, mass reactive detonator cap, depleted deuterium core, diamantine tip.1 The standard bolter shell is standardised at .75 calibre, whereas...
Not alot. You can get lead fairly cheap depending on where you sell it. On Ebay it ranges so check them and Gunbroker for what they are selling it for.

I understand that view, the problem is there is nothing to fire the charge off with while setting the powder and ball. Matter of fact it is completely safe at that point. Until I put a charge in the pan or put a firing cap on the nipple, it won't fire.
Unfortunately it is the uninformed that...
Red,
Thanks for the posting on lead. Nice to have people offer it. I cast my own and nice to pick some 'extra' up every now and then.
With the EPA and other liberal tree huggers out there trying to ban it, it is a good thing to have extra.
Cheers, DonK
So what is this 'muzzle direction' rule about? Never heard of it. And I really have to say seeing and shooting for most of my fifty years, muzzleoaders are much more safety conscious than anyone I have ever met.
(this is NOT meant to start a who is safer than who thread, just an observation)...
singlesix is correct in that.
Here is something else to consider.
Just as an FYI, you can only purchase 50# at one time.
IF you try to buy more, the ATF or FBI may and most likely will visit you.
I know of this first hand (have been visited before:D)and if you are caught with more than...

When I served in the Army, one of my jobs...
Skip is correct on that. I learned on a 1911 in the army. I learned it inside and out from an armourer.
Revolvers are very reliable but I like the extra ammo in a conflict situation.
But then again, I am partial to semi's.
Also train, train and train some more. I was in Grenada and was in a...
Hello all, been here for a little bit but did not say my hello's yet, too eager to see what is on here!!
I am from Fishers and I shoot mostly replica blackpowder rifles and pistols and cap 'n ball.
I am apprenticed to an awesome gunsmith who does engraving and restoration on vintage firearms.
I...
Keep at it and thank you for doing the job you do. I too have sent letters to our elected officials and you would think with as many guns are owned out there the officials would try harder especially since many gun owners are older. 'Older' spend money.
Ion,
The reason is in-lines are 'sexier' than traditional rifles and pellets are cheaper to store.
Gregg,
You can get 2F at Track of the Wolf but you have to buy #25 min at $15.62(?) a pound. Or Gander can order it for you, I think. Or go to Friendship for the fall shoot and buy it there. And...
