      You will definately want to have water with you. Bring your hydration bladder/canteens. Have more water in your cooler for re-supply.

      The front sling mount on the Mannlicher stock won't accept the 1 1/4" web sling. Tech Sight has 1" web slings on there website. Also, I would strongly advise removing the 2 bolts from your barrel V block and applying a drop of removeable Loctite and torque them to 15-18" inch lbs. Do the same...

      Paperwork to make a cannon?

      I got a piece of steel 7 inches in diameter with a 3 inch hole in it. Pressed and then welded a breech plug in. Then a friend that runs a big lathe turned the profile. Then I welded on the trunions. I proofed it with 2 lbs. of powder. I usually shoot 1/2 lb. per shot.

      Cannons are considered antique ordinace replicas. Exempt from the legal term firearm. There is a ton of information on South Bend Replicas website. 20 years ago if you ordered a barrel from them they would send you a copy of the laws you would need to get out of jail free.

      When I built my house I had 2 short walls added into the corner of the basement. I think they told me for the additional footer and walls it was $700. Then the floor was poured. That didn't add any extra cost. The walls are 7 inches thick with rebar reinforcement. Then I welded up a rebar grid...
