Yeah. That's the plan. I might get serious into pistol optics down the road, but for now, I just need something to allow me to aim my G19 when I've got my can attached. And spending only $40 to accomplish that, is pretty nice. I'll try to do a thorough range report after I get it!
I decided to go the opposite route, and went with the Fab Defense MAKO GIS. My thought process being that I don't know how well I'll like an optic on my G19, but I do need a way of being able to use a sight with my can installed and the Fab Defense mount is the cheapest option I have found to...
I can't recall the conversation I had with him, being 5+ years ago, but I thought he said he'd be the guy to call if I were to be involved in a self defense shooting? Might be time to update the contact card though... I don't know many attorneys though, unfortunately. Especially those who'd...
Yeah. I think a backpack is the way to go. I'm hoping someone chimes in with some input on the quality of the G.P.S. bag. It looks great, but looks can be very deceiving!
Glad to hear that. I assumed he still was the main man to call, but I've been MIA from INGO for some time, and just wanted to double check to make sure. Now I just need to ensure that I still have the correct contact numbers. Not sure if they've changed at all or not over the last 5+ years...
Not a bad idea. And I'd still probably use my bag pictured in the OP to transport other miscellaneous gear such as my bench bags, spotting scope, and other random items that wouldn't fit in the range bag. But I still have that youthful mentality of "try to carry EVERYTHING in one trip". :)...
Back in 2011, when I first got my LTCH, I talked to Guy, who gave me all his contact information, which I attached to the back of my LTCH, in case I was ever involved in a self defense shooting and needed a lawyer.
My card reads as follows:
Is this still a good contact to have, or should I...
I've finally decided to invest in a range bag for my handguns. Up until now, I've just used an old gym back in which I keep all 4 handguns stacked on top of one another in hard or soft cases. Although my current setup does technically work, it really doesn't leave a whole lot of extra room for...
So I think I have narrowed it down to two rail mounts. One is $50, the other is $250. Not sure if it'd be worth the extra coin for the more expensive one. Anyone here have much experience with rail mounts?
Option #1: Fab Defense GIS ($50)
Option #2: ALG 6-Second Mount ($250)
Saw that video. looks pretty decent for the money. I think I'm going to order one. I'll report back with how I like it and how well it works! I think I'd get the specific Glock one though that hooks onto the rail and trigger pin.
Dovetail mount, rail mount, or MOS slide for Glock?
To start, I've got a 9mm can on the way to use on my Gen4 G19. I bought it from a local shop that lets me shoot the can in their range while I await my tax stamp in the mail. The can is taller than my front and rear sights, so it's more "point...
Been a long time, guys & gals. Been super busy with work, school, and just life in general. But, I am going to do my damnedest to try and make this event! It's 3 days before my BDay, so I should be able to convince my lady to let me go. Hell, I might even be able to get her to come with! :):
