If the front sight was too high, I would be shooting low. But I love the formula and I will definately use this. I am about 10 inches high at 25 yards.
Used to have a 9mm. It always went bang. Dont feed it hollow points though. Mine didnt like them. The instructions said that but I didnt believe it. I do now.
I guess I should clarify. I fully understand the physics, trojectory, and logic involved in points of impact. What I guess I want to know is what can I do with this weapon to adjust it, or me, to be dead on at 25 yards.(other than hold low) This is where I prefer my zero at.
So my 17 gen 4 is a very accurate weapon at any distance that I like to shoot. I do find myself having to hold low to get in the center of the target. About a 6 o'clock hold. Uncommon? Fixes for this? Normal? Crazy operator? Bad eyes? :dunno:
***Update*** I just went to the range this afternoon with 3 different types of 30 carbine ammo and never got the carbine to fire a single round. It light strikes the primer every round. Im afraid that it might be an excessive head space issue. Im taking it to a gunsmith friend of mine this...
