      1187 Problems

      Thanks, all. It seems to jam with the new barrel and the original barrel. He is using Remington supreme slugs (3 different boxes) and high brass #6. I keep thinking it's gas system related...

      1187 Problems

      A buddy of mine is having issues where his 1187 will not eject fired shells. It also has solidly struck primers without firing some shells. It has been thoroughly cleaned and the gas ring has been replaced. Thoughts on what to do or where to take it on the south side of Indy? Thanks, all. BTW...

      How did you prep the metal? Did you sand at all or blast it with abrasive before painting? Any way to scratch proof the finish once you paint? Great work!

      Reading the Wind, How to Be a Good Spotter

      Does anyone have any suggested reading or available training courses or even Youtube videos for how to spot better? I'd like to learn how to read wind and mirage better for highpower rifle competitions. Thanks.
