I plan on getting a carry gun of some variety. I was mainly looking at the G43 and the Shield (I do most of my practice with an M&P 22 compact), but I've been reading about the PPS also. The Shield is the only one I have shot and it felt good and I shot it well.
These torture test videos make for good youtube content, but I don't think I'd put too much stock in them in terms of helping make a decision to buy. Too many variables to have truly accurate results, and those aren't real world conditions for mt situation. I'm much more concerned with how the...
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but as I'm getting more into shooting I'm just discovering these youtube videos for the first time. My current favorites: MAC (even before I read the posts here I could tell he was a hoosier), Hickock45 (good reviews and I like his personality), TFBTV (James...
My wife is busy in the morning so I may try to sneak down there and look around. I promised her I wouldn't buy a gun this time though...I made no such promises regarding holsters, ammo, magazines, knives, jerky....
I just started looking into these plans so I plan on doing a lot more research, but does anyone know if there is any verifiable data on how these plans work in practice or stories from anyone that has had to use the insurance?
I recently bought a new 509 and so far I couldn't be more pleased. The price was right. It's extremely well built. It feels great in my hand. I'm a relatively new shooter, but I shoot it better than all of the other striker fired 9mm guns I shot during my pre-purchase research process. I...
Like a character recently said on Game of Thrones, everything before the "but" is horse s**t. The ignorance on display at the end of that column is staggering considering the first part of it. How did that lady get to be a US attorney without even understanding that purchases at gun shows are no...
I used to stop in the Castleton location weekly when I worked down there. I never bought anything though. Seems I wasn't aline. Kind of like Borders (anyone remeber that) it was a cool place to browse, but there was no point in actually shopping there. I'll miss the window shopping though.
I'm just getting into shooting, but I see the practicality in acquiring anything it takes to be prepared for a worst case scenario. I started with a handgun for home defense, but the more I think about it there is so much more I could and should do to be prepared. The more I read and watch...
I was so close to pulling the trigger (no pun intended) on a new P320 two weeks ago, and decided to wait and do some more research and shooting. Man am I glad I did. Not that Sig won't make it right eventually, but just the fact that if I had to send my brand new gun back to the factory a week...
Hello everyone. My name's Brent and I live in Noblesville in Hamilton County. Before anyone asks I know this isn't a pool forum (Trust me I know all about those.) But it's a user name I've had for awhile on other bits of social media so I thought I'd keep it here. Playing pool is my first and...
