      Wheel Weights

I always ask if they sell them, but I get a No. I'll have to try auto repair shops. Thanks

      Wheel Weights

I am having a heck of a time finding a tire store that doesn't have someone come by and pick up their scrap wheel weights. I guess there is quite a market for scrap in this bad economy.

      Henryville Range Question

So is there any problem with shooting on the "enforcement only" side of the range. I have shot on that side when I had the range to myself, but kept looking over my back waiting for someone to tell me to move. If no officers are using that side to shoot or train, is it a problem?

      Unburnt Powder

LOL, I wasn't trying to be a wuss, I have some HP38 and it was too weak. Whats the point of having a large .357 mag if you are going to just shoot .38 special. So far I like what I'm getting out of 14 grs of 2400. Is it the best, maybe not, but it works and it's fun. Thanks a lot for...

      Unburnt Powder

**As for your COL, generally the difference between 1.56 and 1.59 is going to be the length of the bullet. A heavier bullet may elongate your COL slightly. In a revolver, 0.03" (especially with a crimp) really isn't an issue, just make sure you never go under the minimum length. ** Glad...

      Unburnt Powder

Well thanks for the helpful responses. I'm using 14 gr b/c that is what I had setup for my 158gr loads and didn't want to have to go through the hassle of readjusting my powder measure. 140gr xtp w/ 14gr of 2400 is about as hot as I want to shoot at the moment. I readjusted by bullet setting...

      Unburnt Powder

I shot some .357 mag loads this weekend - 140 xtp +14grs of 2400 - and was getting some unburnt powder left in the brass. I had shot this same load the previous weekend and did not have this problem. Is this a result of not enough crimp? weak load? :dunno: Please help. I was shooting a...

      357 Reload at the Range

I agree, just shot a couple of new handloads with 2400. 140gr xtp and 158 swc's from Missouri Bullet Co. Previously I used hp38. Not nearly as fun.

      Ruger GP100

I am looking for a GP100 .357 revolver. Stainless or blued. Primarily want a 6 inch model but will consider 4 inch. If you know a store that carries one for less than 500$ let me know. Forgot to add that I am also interested in a ruger blackhawk, vaquero 6 inch .357.

So does anyone know of where I can take my p220 to have the slide stop spring replaced? I live in southern indiana so the further south of indy the better. Thanks.

      Shooting some Reloads

Yeah I'm using the lee auto prime hand primer. Trying to load large pistol wolf was a total pain. Thanks mospeada, that makes a lot of sense. I'll have to try my reloads in all of my mags next time.

      Shooting some Reloads

thought I might not be seating the primers deep enough, guess I'll have to pay more attention to the seating. All the brass is winchester, dont know anything about a military crimp.

      Shooting some Reloads

Went to the range Sunday to try out some .357 and .45 reloads. Started out with problems with the Wolf small pistol primers I was trying in my .357, about every 10th one wouldn't go off the first time. All the firing pin strikes on the primers looked the same so I couldn't tell if it was the...

      Surface rust on dies

So does anyone know of best way to clean surface rust off of reloading dies? It doesn't seem to take long for surface rust to build up on my dies for whatever reason. Thanks.
