      If it's just for BS, no serious use (competition or defense), go to PSA and sort the deals by price. At the lower price point there's not a huge difference IMO on performance. They're not gonna be "battle proven" or top tier, but if it's just for plinking then they're likely fine enough...

      Not a folder, but the WBP Jack from Poland is a nice AK (standard AK furniture) at around $1k. Not the cheapest, but far from the most expensive. PSA are fine for something to learn on too. For the price they're a better deal than KUSA, and I don't think KUSA are worth the price they charge...

      Lpvo or red dot/magnifier?

      For competitions I like magnifier/ dot combos. The main reason being is I don't like the eye relief for LPVOs on shorter distances (within 50 yards) but do want to pop on some magnification in case a stage has something 100+ out. It's not hard for me to just flip the magnifer up/down when...
