Why Do So Many On INGO Hate HOA's?

That''s why we can't have nice things.

      First time motorcycle

When I lived in a small remote town, that had good weather pretty much year around, I commuted to work on a small motorcycle. It saved on having to buy a second car. I wore a helmet, leather gloves and red windbreaker. My headlight was always on. People have a hard time seeing a motorcycle from...

      Primers

Thanks, but I've checked that. The SA primers are very hard to seat to the bottom of the primer pocket and Winchester primers always go to the bottom easily with the Dillon 550 and I can't remember ever having a Winchester primer not ignite.

      Primers

I probably have this in an old post, but I've loaded quite a few in my 9mm loads. I used my Dillon 550 and got a lot of misfires with my Sig P320 Compact, but they usually go bang on the second or third strike. If I use my hand primer, they seat better and I only rarely get a misfire.

      Best Revolver for a Son?

I was basing my opinion on the OP's $1,000 budget.

Why all the hate on .40

Lots of anonymous internet hate and ignorance on the internet. Lots of social media influencers will say or do just about anything to get hits and make money. I don't see that much when folks are actually interacting face-t-face on the range or at a gun club meeting room. Having said that, yes...

      Best Revolver for a Son?

It i a pre-lock revolver. They are a collectable. Anything done outside of the factory impacts the collector value.

      Best Revolver for a Son?

As a keepsake that he could be proud to pass down and the fact that he has large hands, I'd suggest a pre-lock Smith & Wesson Model 27-2. It was made when a lot of care was given to quality. The .357 magnum caliber is very versatile and it is capable of shooting .38 SPL ammo. Engraving would...

      Best Revolver for a Son?

What caliber are you thinking about? Do you or your son anticipate reloading for the revolver? What will be the primary purpose for the revolver?

      Should I sell?

It's about barrel twist. You probably have a 1:7 or 1:8 barrel twist rate in your rifle. You could get a 1:9 twist rate barrel installed in your AR and it'll shoot the light bullets (and less expensive) much better.

AI, Great Friend or Dangerous Foe?

It probably would be better than the paint by the numbers sets!

AI, Great Friend or Dangerous Foe?

I think AI can be, and already is in a limited capacity, an amazing aid, especially in the medical field. As has been said, though, left uncontrolled, it could be a terrible blight on humankind. The huge driving force, to let it run amuck, is the almighty dollar.

      Clark Co Sheriff Noel raid

I see tv news reports regularly, since it is a local trial. What is truly amazing is that it went on for so long without anyone reporting it. The ex-sheriff must have felt extremely powerful, been very intimidating and felt like he had enough on others to get away with it. He seems like a...

      Scopes for pellet rifles

I have a UTG 3-9x with lit reticle on my .22 Benjamin Mayhem. I believe it is the Bugbuster model. I rarely use the lit reticle and they may not actually sell them any longer. Find a pellet that your air rifle is accurate with and be aware that changing pellet weights can change your vertical...

      Public Schools

Like a lot of unions, teacher unions spend way too much time defending bad employees. Unless criminally charged, it seems hard to actually get rid of deadwood. https://www.edweek.org/teaching-learning/study-its-far-too-hard-to-fire-bad-teachers/2016/12

      Public Schools

Teachers should be teaching basic skills. As far as, morals, I think that is one of the things that teachers may want to stay away from. I've known young liberal teachers whose moral standards were very low (not pointing towards you) and often on display outside the classroom. My grandkids have...
