      .380 vs 9mm as an EDC Gun

      I like my 9mm Shield. Bought it and a couple years later they introduced the .45 Shield. It is now on the list. The 9 is very comfortable in the IWB holster I have for it.

      Quail are slowly making a comeback in Southern Indiana. Yotes are getting bad, and I have actually seen bobcats fairly close to houses when it used to only be a deep woods.

      Wow. I have had yotes talking close by on the way to my deer stand in the morning, and while I wouldn't say I was scared, it definitely makes you be very alert. Can't imagine wolves. Pretty sure I can hold my own against coyotes, but a pack of wolves might be a little different.

      Dang auctions

      Auctions are like that. Not sure how many things I have either purchased that I had no reason to, or overpaid because I am stubborn and don't like being beat out on anything. I once paid 30 bucks for a used rod and reel that I could have bought brand new for 28.99 at Walmart.

      I use a CVA Cascade which has a 22 in barrel, 1:16 twist. I shoot the Hornady American Whitetail 170 grain. Holding a little over 1" group at 100. Pretty sure the variable is me and not the equipment. On occasion I will have a couple touching and a group less than 1" when I am felling good...

      I'm shopping for a sling for my Stoeger M3000. Have had 3 Allen company slings break on me, exchanged 2. Normally have very good luck with Allen slings, most of my bolt action rifles sport them.
