I agree 100%. The information “should” be stamped on the barrel. Problem is that neither is stamped anywhere on the barrel and I’ve looked at every square inch several times.
Just my opinion but a Smith lever action gun just “feels” wrong. Kind of like Remington or Mossberg when they entered the handgun industry. It would be like Winchester announcing they are going to produce single action revolvers.
This may end up being a great rifle but when someone mentions...
Anybody ever run into an AR upper without any markings? Trying to help a guy figure out what he has. I know it was purchased just after the Clinton attempted ban (mid 1990’s) It has a heavy target barrel and the carry handle is attached. There are zero and I mean absolutely No Markings of any...

You kind of talked in circles. You deride “guys like me” for turning their 10/22s into exactly what we want. Then (in the same sentence/paragraph) ask “why not build one up?”
“Build one up” is EXACTLY what I did. Started with a very inexpensive 10/22 and turned it into exactly...
I really love my old 10/22. It has some upgrades including a Midway stainless bull barrel, Fajen stock and basic trigger work. It has an inexpensive (but decent) Simmons variable power scope. I built this in the mid 1990’s (I think).
It is an incredible shooter. It feds even the cheapest ammo...
Thank you for your suggestions.
I’ll get the photos asap.
Where is the $50 trigger?
I’ve read that there are different trigger groups so Not all replacements will work.
I aquired an old but decent Marlin model 60. Only issue is the trigger guard assembly is broke. It is the model with the plastic assembly. I do Not have the piece that broke off and it looks as if a previous owner attempted a repair. I have found replacements online but the price is more than...
My pleasure. It looks like they do it there often. I may hit it on a Saturday I’m Not busy. Probably won’t plan a day around it but if I’m on the area it may be a good way to spend an hour or so. If I do, I’ll report here.
Whites. Yes. I go with a buddy a few times a month. He’s been going since is was at the sale barn before Whites.
Years ago you could pick up a deal once in a while. I haven’t seen a deal there for quite a while. Doesn’t mean I’ll stop going and looking.
I went to check out the venue. While I can Not speak to the quality of the show I can say that the building it is held in appears quite small. I’ve never been (and probably won’t now that I’ve seen it unless someone hear has a different experience) so as I said I’m NOT judging the show only the...
That make more sense. I had the 5 year before the LTCH became available. I opted to get the LTCH well before Constitutional Carry went into effect. I Figure since I have it might as well keep it in my wallet.
How does a LTCH lapse? Is there a fee that I don’t know about to keep it active? I must have missed something when I got mine. I assumed it was a one time deal.
I’ve never heard of this.
I was with a buddy that lives in KY several months ago when he purchased a Daniel Defense. He has his Kentucky concealed carry but was still required to fill out the gubment paperwork and undergo the background check.
Thanks. Have you ever been? Looks like it’s out of Harrison proper possibly close to Fernald. Same address is also listed as the Miami Town gun show.
Like the OP I’d be interested to know of anyone has been.
I am in Harrison fairly frequently. I’ll give the location a drive by to check it out...
