What I've found in my internal fight nights is that the 2 on 1 wrist grab works great! How we mitigated it was to pass it to the other hand, which we had to initiate another 2 on 1.
Takeaways:
1. 2 on 1 wrist grab works.
2. It is overcome by passing it to the other hand.
3. Lots of strikes...
This is a 4 hour class.
This class has essentially filled, which means we will be offering more. Hopefully with Pat.
Thanks for considering driving all the way up here for it!
Every time I've done shooting through windshields from the inside we use different parts of the glass and it deflects the bullets up in each new spot. This way multiple shooters can use the same windshield.
I don't know that any of his shots went through the same hole.
Good points, Dane.
I am looking on as someone who trains regular folks and police. How can we all learn from this?
He reverted to his lowest level of mastered skills.
He has definitely mastered using the radio, driving, courage under fire, and having giant balls of steel!
All good points!
The most difficult thing here is all of the issues can be corrected for a total sum of $0.
Reacquiring grip = Free
Mag changes = Free
The issue here isn't the money it takes to train, it's the time, as that's all he needed to fix his grip/mag change issues.
His accuracy...

A couple of notes about this.
1. Bad tactics, skills, and decisions can still win the day.
2. If you haven't mastered the grip in pistol 1 you don't need to be in vehicle class.
3. The first time you shoot though a windsheild...
He violated rule 2, then rule 1. He flagged the line violating rule #2. After violating rule 2 he violated rule 1, as he was not treating guns as if they are loaded.
To go to the OP:
"I turned away from the firing line toward the back bench with a weapon in hand."
Take a moment and think about your goals the next time you go shooting. Start at the most basic level, the safety rules.
There is a reason classes start with the safety rules, even the most advanced classes.
Co witness might push you to the RDS world.
Beware of the placement. Sometimes getting shells over the receiver into the chamber get difficult because it gets in the way.
Came here to say exactly this, glad I read the thread.
Both examples are wrong.
Find it with your eyes first, maybe this isn't a fight you need to be in.
I went! Hung out with bootsontheground and crew. Good group! They had some fun steel targets out there.
Ran a couple of the cans, the line got real quiet for the .22 can.
Got a mini lesson on their style. Different but effective.
We swapped business contacts and ways to help each other...
Looks pretty sunny.
I tried to register at their website and they never sent me an email back with the location. Dunno if this is a "competitor" thing or if I got lost in the shuffle. I'll go as your +1 jedi...
