This is fantastic advice, thank you BBI!
I hadn't considered the courtroom class.
The dragster point is excellent. Anymore I take a class from a big name guy and walk out no faster or more accurate. I always have to wonder, would I have been better off shooting $2.5k of ammo (instead of...
Interesting conversation!
Of those that gave "negative" reviews still would recommend the class.
A couple of things.
The more classes I take the less I learn from each. There is quite a bit of overlapping from everyone. My days of being blown away by a class are likely over.
Inaccurate...
I made the paper. Fun!

I'll bet.
#4, 5 on my post were there already before this past meeting. They tried to get them cancelled but they were shot down and will work on it next month.
I have a ton of people that train with me that want to learn how to hunt.
The barriers are:
1. No one is willing to take anyone out to teach anything
2. No one is willing to share any land.
There is also a bit of a culture clash as well. The up and coming generations don't like the heavy...
What I took from it was this.
1. They were passing whatever they wanted.
2. It went from 1,000 to 700.
3. If you get a written statement from your neighbor it can be 0 feet from their dwelling.
4. There is a berm requirement.
5. If you are going to shoot on your property you must have a special...
I prefer absolute for consistency across all platforms. As a not huge guy I like to get in tight instead of upright.
For running any helmet/shoot house work I prefer the 1/3. I tend to be more upright for that.
I'm using a t1 most of the time.
I've had it for 8 years now.
I went from 20/80 to 20/10. Still going strong.
Lost a little bit of my night vision.
My shooting actually got worse initially. I never shot with prescription glasses. I could only see my front sight, as my target I couldn't even focus on. Now I can focus on...
I had to buy one online. Ended up getting a 19 for $500 with some extras on gunbroker. There has been nothing locally for months. The days of $350 glock 19s are over because of things like the Roland Special. They all got snapped up.
Not saying they aren't awesome, I have no clue. But your reference about ID scanning in college bars doesn't go far here. This generally isn't a group that spends time in locations as such, let alone had over ID just to drink a beer.
Just sayin
Unfortunately, no.
We will likely be offering more in the future since this one filled so quickly.
I think it is so awesome that IS was able to reach so many people with this vital info!
Their advice will make sure you:
1. Make it home that night.
2. Don't go to jail.
3. Don't get sued.
All the best advice that a trainer can give someone.
At the end of the day one would have to shed our cultural norms on what a man is to watch someone walk into somewhere and start killing...
