Bump to top!
This is the clinic you'll want to attend in order to conceptualize what happens when shooting various distances - the math & science of long range shooting!
It's also a really laid back class where we do a lot of measuring, figuring, and talking about WHY the bullet impacted...
Red dots are money for this clinic, just need to understand where to hold.
Revere's Riders has a clinic on Aug. 24th at Red Brush Range near Evansville that will conceptualize bullet rise, drop, near/far zero, etc. I highly recommend shooting that one!
Best class for ladies to learn the basics of safe gun handling and pistol marksmanship.
With it being Mother's Day weekend, what a good way to spend the day with mom or sisters & friends!
"Look. A clock. We don't have that in America."
If you have a month that's plenty of time to get pretty much any card out there. As others have said, the travel cards are the way to go - especially if they waive or cover international transaction fees.
Typically, your bank's MC isn't going to...
It's not a problem but you may get your skin scrunched up in there and pinched or catch some dirt/moisture. It would bother me to the point I'd start shimming or filing... or both!
Aftermarket AR parts are sometimes finicky. Magpul has a good rep but even their tolerances are probably not...
99% of us are LARPing when we carry so it doesn't really matter.
I'm with several of the posters on here with, "Where do you carry all that stuff?" Do you never just throw on a pair of shorts, a t-shirt and flip flops to run to McDonalds? Is every venture outside your home akin to gearing up...
Were you wearing ear pro while mowing?
I ask because a lot of folks will wear ear pro when shooting but completely skip out on wearing it when doing loud activities like mowing the yard. If you keep them on your feed cart I'm guessing you also wear them while mowing but maybe not? Either way...
Huzzah!
"The shooting class that's really a math class." is now two days long and incorporates some fun on the little guns before stepping up to the big guns.
This clinic is where the math & science starts to make sense and all those things you've read about here on the internetz or seen in...
If you're on the fence about a Garand, make sure you're at this event. Since there will be firearms safety and marksmanship instruction, this will fit the requirements for the CMP certificate and you can check the box for ordering a US Rifle, Caliber .30, Model 1 right to your front door. MURICA!!!!
Folks, don't let a SOLD OUT event stop you from attending. You're more than welcome to come "hang out" at any and all RR events FOR FREE. You can observe all the instruction, listen to all the history, and then you're also first on the standby list in case there's a no show.
Due to insurance...
Lorcin L380 because that's the only handgun my schoolmate offered for sale. Broke me of being a gun snob right off the rip. In all seriousness, it was a wonderful shooting gun (bricks are heavy!) and once I got old enough to legally purchase any gun I wanted I realized that those "quality" guns...
Big ol' .357 wheel guns with .38s are the way to go but revolvers are a hard sell because nobody uses them in the movies anymore. That 1911 is the go-to for me.
Most folks want to shoot their teeny carry pistols with the plastic frame and snappy recoil. Their hand hurts after two or three...
Giving a big ol' thumbs up to Vortex for making a great product that I bought refurbished from A&A. As always, my customer experience dealing with Alan was outstanding and he definitely steered me in the right direction with the Vortex Viper HD 10x50 binocs.
I'd field tested them a few times...
If you're on the fence about signing up or waiting to see what the weather will be like or whatever... don't wait too long. Every Carbine clinic we've put on has sold out. I had several folks contacting me in the weeks leading up to the 1-day event at Seelyville in December and, unfortunately, I...
We're back at it!
Another Carbine event is scheduled soon. Come join us at the Bedford Contingent on Feb. 23rd and 24th for this exciting two-day clinic on how to run your AR-15, AK-47, etc.
INGO's own nad63 (Nigel) is running this show so it'll be a special treat for everyone in attendance...
The official Tueller Drill is for a holstered handgun and, most of the time, folks skin it and fire a single shot. If they get tapped or tagged or whatever before their shot, they're dead. Mythbusters showed us it's pretty tough and, also almost always, someone with a knife at 21ft who is intent...
