Not a victim
I do not consider myself a victim, merely an innocent bystander. I honestly believe the perp has mistaken me for somebody else.
Like a previous post states.... the best shot was the one I never took.
On a previous incident I had the suspect in view, in range, and on camcorder...
Update.......
Law Enforcement is being less than aggressive in their investigation. I may need to consider the idea that the perp is a confidential informant for some agency. That would explain the lack of enthusiasm in investigating.
At least I have his name, DNA sample, place of...
Class B misdemeanor or class B felony in Indiana, depending if he has one of several diseases. Now have his name and know where he works. Law enforcement is involved. Latest and most nasty in a series of events.
This happened on my property, captured by hard wired night vision. Not the first incident. Latest in a series of 5 spanning six months.
Would you drop the hammer on him?? Here is a youtube link of the perp in action.

The Manson crowning tool is just the ticket. I have cut numerous 22 and 30 cal crowns with mine and all turned out fantastic.
Unfortunately I do not have a 6.5 arbor, only 22,6mm, 30, and 45.
I also agree with the diagnosis of a bulged cylinder. A quick trip back to S&W is most likely the best route to take.
My 29-2 went back for the very same reason. Took about two weeks and was returned with a new style cylinder and a fresh "tighten and tune" .
I neck up the 222Rem Mag to 6mm and run it through my 40X bench gun. If you have excess 222Rem Mag brass I'll gladly give it a good home and a thorough workout.
Gwinn was the origin of what is now Bushmaster and was offered in both rifle and pistol configuration. I have owned both varieties. They usually work VERY well unless someone has tinkered with them. Surplus M16 parts were in all the ones I had a chance to look at or fondle. Tinkering usually...
7 to 7 1/2 gr of Red Dot in 44 mag with a 240-250 gr lead bullet will get you 1000 to 1100 fps and is very uniform and very clean.
One of my favorite 44 mag powders.
I cast boolits for some local shooters and have just recently been involved with the very same thing in a Lone wolf 9mm Glock 19 barrel. It split from one end to the other , in a perfectly straight line, while in a competitive shooting event. The RO heard nothing unusual and was right beside the...
I would suspect that the fiber recoil buffer( the shock buff thing) is missing from the rear face of the receiver. This part , along with the rivet, is available from Numrich.
