Thinking about getting a single-shot breakopen .357, and having it cut/threaded 3/4x10 to match the old 2-stage Sionics style can, then have the can TIG'ed onto it to make a compact integral .357/.38 carbine. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Alternately...dremel a slot in the top of each side of the barrel and JB Weld half a silver dime into each slot you cut. Makes for an affordable, attractive serrated blade sght.
