It depends on what I'm carrying. I either carry my 9mm with 13+1 with no extra mags, or my .45 with 8+1 and 1 extra mag. 14 and 17 rounds, respectively, should be plenty. 1911 suggestions
Mmmmmmmm... Colt CCO... *drool* The CCO configuration does seem ideal for 1911 carry. I carry a fullsize, all steal gun and it does take some getting used to. Using public restrooms suck though, since the gun tries to make my pants fall down :n00b: Then again, maybe another poster was right... -

To be completely honest, I've never trained in any form of SD not related to guns. However, I do take good care of my body.
