It's beautiful to look at, but I'd take a TK custom Big Butt any day, especially with hard recoil. I have sets on my 610 and 629s and they're much more pleasant to shoot.
Not to thread jack but I manufacture 8.6BLK in house with 225gn Barnes TSX, 300gn SMKs and 342gn Gorilla Expanding Subs. Holler if you need some help with your 8.6 loading, I'll swap some recipes. I sell a lot of that ammo to INGO'ers and on Gunbroker, and the feedback has been 100% positive.
That was an issue for sure. The new versions are much safer *cough* and they're upping their CS and repair games too. No doubt permanently put a bad taste in a lot of mouths, and rightfully so.
I've seen a couple cans shipped back, repaired and returned within a week. That's the good side of...

Sig P220 10mm Legion with Sig Red Dot, five magazine and box. Round count is approx. 200 rounds. This is the grey later version, not the earlier green. SAO. $1100 near Nashville, Bloomington, Columbus or South Greenwood. I'll be in Carmel / Westfield / Brownsburg...
Hi @aporter, I'm Andrew from Whitetail. I've read your host list, and I'll toss out some suggestions below:
There are two major factors (aside from length and number of baffles) when deciding which 30cal can to put on an AR. The front aperture diameter (the exit hole) is the first and the...
Not using these, all the machines are calibrated for a different brand. 1K Federal 210 & 2k Ginex Large Rifle Primers. $120 for the Federal, $110 for the Ginex.
Meet between Nashville/Columbus/Bloomington/South Greenwood. I'll be in Brownsburg / Northside on Wed mid afternoon.
Let me mention something - the SGX isn't a bad suppressor, but the Salvo's were the OG and priced accordingly. The nice thing about the SGX is the "on the fly" length adjustment which the Salvo's don't have. Also, additional baffles for the Salvos are much more expensive, and the SGX comes...
Silencerco Sparrow 22 Suppressor, on sale $269 while supplies last. I have four available at this price. These are monocore suppressors that come apart for easy cleaning. No K baffles to try and re-align. Demo trigger time available upon request.
Efiled and shipped to your door. Shipping...
Yes, the Salvo is good with slugs too.
And I’ve been called worse, “enabler” is kind. :-). Holler if you need help with either set of forms. Hunting season is fast approaching.
There is a JK 195 Versax and SGX 12. The SGX is longer and has more baffles. Silencerco's Salvo is a better suppressor than the JK cans being the original (and a Silencerco product), but the SGX isn't a bad suppressor.
